Great things are happening at the Fairmount, IN PHC!!

We received the following note today from Pastor Smith:

I heard of a small Church closing and thought it would be a good thing if I could get it for a new fellowship hall and a Bedroom for speakers and workers. So I called the old pastor and he said he gave it to the city. So I called the city and talked to them. They said that I could lease it for 3 years and if I took care of it, they would give it to me. I called Bro. Southerland and talked it over with him. Turns out the city wanted to talk to us, so Bro. Jim Thomason and Bro. Southerland and I went to the city and met with two of the members on Friday 2/22/13. They liked what we had to say and said they thought I would not have to lease it and they would sign it over to us. However the city would meet on 2/25/13 and let us know. The building had everything I wanted! (62x30 Fellowship 15x9 bedroom 25x15 conference room and a full kitchen and two bathrooms)

Well, I would like to say praise the LORD for here is what the city said in a quote from The News-Sun. Attorney Phil Stephenson advised the Board to have the Chapel sign the deed over to the Pilgrim Holiness Church and they can take possession of it immediately. He also suggested that the town absorb any costs we may have in it, along with any legal fees that may be involved, PRAISE THE LORD!
